The Armed Man
Sat 16 October, 2027 at 7:00pm - 9:30pm
The nation’s favourite piece of classical music, according to Classic FM, is showcased in this Autumn concert.
Karl Jenkins’ Mass for Peace, The Armed Man, was written in 1999 in reflection of the passing of ‘the most war-torn and destructive century in human history’, and as a message of hope that the world of the future would have more peace and fewer wars.
We will be joined for this concert by the talented young musicians of Musica Kirklees Youth Orchestra.
